Robert L. Dohner
Robert L. Dohner, 66, of Myerstown, Pa., died Thursday, June 25, 2009 at his residence.
He was the husband of Dianna M. (Weidman) Dohner to whom he was married 14 years on June 8.
Born in Lebanon, Pa. on May 19, 1943, he was the son of the late Myrl (Dohner) Taylor.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a steward at the Myerstown VFW for 20 years.
He was a lifetime member of the Myerstown VFW and the Richland American Legion and enjoyed driving his yellow truck.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Melissa wife of Greg Glembaci of Robesonia, Pa. and Amanda Dunkelberger of Carlisle, Pa.; stepsons Sean husband of Jennifer Firestine of Myerstown,Pa. and Justin husband of Jessica Firestine of Pittsburgh, Pa.; sisters Sharon Taylor Carlton of Jacksonville, Florida., Tina wife of Salvatore Anzalone of Lebanon, Pa.; brothers Jay husband of Gloria Dohner of Myerstown, Pa., Gary husband of Jackie Dohner of Lebanon, Pa., Glenn Taylor of Lebanon, Pa., and James Taylor of Hershey, Pa.; 9 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 12:30 pm. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Tuesday at 11:30 am. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
