Warren K. Reist      Rescheduled  viewing & funeral


Warren K. Reist, 79, of Quentin, Pa., died Monday, February 22, 2010 at the VA Medical Center, Lebanon, Pa.

He was the husband of Jacqueline "Jackie" P. (Wise) Reist to whom he was married 57 years on April 12. 

Born in Lebanon, Pa. on April 27, 1930, he was the son of the late Harvey and Stella (Kline) Reist.

He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict. 

He worked for many years as a salesman for Plasterer Equipment Co., Lebanon, Pa.

He was a member of Rocherty United Methodist Church, Lebanon, Pa. and was an active member and a fire policeman for the Quentin Volunteer Fire Co. and the Cornwall Fire Company. On June 21, 2008, he received the Frank Ceresini, Sr. Distinguished Fire Service Award for Lebanon County. He enjoyed fishing, camping and collecting John Deere memorabilia. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Judith wife of Dennis Wilkinson of Camp Hill, Pa. and Darlene wife of Carl Mindler of Lebanon; son Gary husband of Kathy Reist of Cleona; 
4 grandchildren; sister Jean wife of Bennett Greeninger of Lebanon; brother Roy husband of Ruth Reist of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11 am. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Sunday from 1 p.m.. - 3 p.m.. and Monday at 10 am.
Interment at Iona United Methodist Cemetery, Lebanon, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rocherty United Methodist Church, 255 Village Drive, Lebanon, Pa. 17042.
