Jean A. Crouse, 84, of Myerstown, died Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

She was the wife of the late Richard J. Crouse who died December 22, 2003.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 12, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Ella E. (Yeagley) Garman.

A 1945 graduate of Myerstown High School, she was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown. For a number of years, she worked part time for Layser's Flowers, Myerstown. She enjoyed attending Navy reunions with her husband and meeting monthly with her classmates. She was known for her "hats" and for sending cards.

She is survived by daughters Margo wife of Gary Fox of Myerstown and Stephanie wife of Steven Hammer of Myerstown; grandchildren Marisa wife of Michael Gawrys of Myerstown, Keith husband of Antonya Fox of Myerstown, Jesse Hammer of Norfolk, Virginia and Joshua Hammer of Blue Bell, PA; great grandchildren Ella and Wyatt Gawrys, Emma Fox and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing Thursday from 9-11 a.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250.
