Pearl E. Stechman, 92, of Myerstown, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

She was the wife of Paul J. Stechman who died on September 19, 1998.

Born in Myerstown, PA on August 7, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Jenny (Moyer) Tice.

A member of Zion United Methodist Church, Myerstown, she helped in the church's kitchen and with the bazaars. She enjoyed crocheting and making blankets.

She is survived by daughter-in-law Nancy Swanger of Myerstown; son-in-law Daniel Lengle Jr. of Myerstown; grandchildren Teri Bixler of Myerstown, Kerry Lengle Sr. of Myerstown, Kevin husband of Sue Stechman of Myerstown, Craig husband of Janeen Stechman of Redondo Beach,CA; great-grandchildren Heather Black and Melissa, Steven, and Graham Stechman; great-great grandson Logan Black; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son Paul D. Stechman in 1982, daughter Pamela H. Lengle in 2009, brother Carl Tice Sr., sisters Marion Peiffer and Irma Davis; and great-grandson Kerry Lengle Jr.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. from Zion United Methodist Church, 22 E. Main Ave., Myerstown. Viewing at 10 a.m. Interment at Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Myerstown. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is entrusted with the arrangements.
