Earnestine M. Trexler, 85, of Myerstown, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

She was the wife of Richard S. Trexler who died on December 18, 2007.

Born in Lebanon, PA on March 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Clayton F. and Adda V. (Ritter) Rump.

She was employed as a sewing machine operator at Everite Knitting Mills, Lebanon, for 10 years until retiring in 1988.

A member of St. Jacob's Kimmerlings Church, Lebanon, she was a graduate of Lebanon High School, was active with the Lebanon Senior Center, and enjoyed quilting and crocheting afghans for the Salvation Army.

She is survived by sons Kirby husband of Theresa Bucher of Lebanon, Garry husband of Karrie Bucher of Lebanon; grandchildren Angela Apple and Kristopher Bucher; great-grandchildren Alonzo Jr. and Andreas Apple, and Joshua, Molly and Paige Bucher; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sons Randy Bucher in 1961, Cole Bucher in 2006, and Bernard Bucher in 2009, and brother Howard Rump.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family at Iona United Methodist Cemetery, Lebanon. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is entrusted with the arrangements.
